Our History

Literally translated, "Casa d'Oro" means "House of Gold". The name originated in Venice in 1424 AD.

Casa d'Oro is one of the finest Niagara restaurants with the 12,000 square foot area housing the dining rooms and a nightclub/lounge - The Rialto Room. With 4 experienced chefs on staff, the specialties of the house are Italian fare, steak and lobster.

Since 1964, beginning with the first family restaurant, Antonio's, and now with the Casa d'Oro, the Roberto family have always regarded their customers as an extension to their own family. They are committed to a superior standard of customer service, cuisine and value.

A new generation of Robertos is proudly following in the family legacy. Currently, two of Jim Roberto's sons, Tony's daughters and son-in-law have all assumed full-time positions and are active within the business.

All members of the Roberto family continue to dedicate their assurance that they shall exert every effort to provide attentive service, a uniquely congenial atmosphere, an authentic Italian cuisine and the finest vintages to be found anywhere!

The Roberto's philosophy is a simple one. "We cater to our customers 300%. We will do anything it takes to keep the customers satisfied. No customer, if we can help it, leaves unsatisfied."
